No looking back for Modulek
It has been over a year since the County Cabins hire business was sold by the business and it was decided to concentrate on the sale of new modular buildings under the existing Modulek brand.
Having moved into their new premises in Verwood, Dorset over Christmas 2013 Modulek has gone from strength to strength.
The most notable projects have been two large modular extensions for schools in Bournemouth, The Jewell Academy and Kingsleigh Primary School.
Jewell Academy originally opened in September 2013 within a refurbished existing school building, which is now linked to the new modular building, but additional space was required to enable the school to grow.
The new extension building by Modulek provides the school with an additional 14 classrooms, a hall suitable for PE and drama, several group rooms, a library and an administration area.
September 2014 saw Kingsleigh Primary School have their admission increased permanently to 120 per year, and is set to grow.
To address this increase Modulek were chosen early in 2014 to provide the extra accommodation needed.
This included, 16 classrooms, changing rooms, a full commercial kitchen, staff room and toilet and shower facilities all finished to the highest quality. The new hall has a seating capacity of nearly 1000, the largest primary school hall in the area. Extensive external works were also completed as part of the contract.
2015 has started off well for Modulek with a number of modular projects lined up already. Modulek are looking forward to increasing their share of the modular building market over the next 12 months and beyond.
